METRO & RAIL OPERATIONS
Operations Control Center

OCC Registers are structured digital logs used within the Operations Control Center to record, track, and manage all operational activities and events across the rail/metro network. These registers capture critical information such as train delays, incidents, equipment faults, maintenance requests, and communication logs in real time, ensuring complete visibility and traceability.

They play a vital role in maintaining operational discipline by providing a centralized record for monitoring system performance, auditing actions, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. OCC Registers also support faster decision-making, efficient incident resolution, and historical data analysis for continuous improvement of operations.

OCC Registers are structured logs and digital records maintained within the Operations Control Center to systematically capture, track, and manage all operational activities, incidents, and communications across the metro or rail network. These registers serve as a critical backbone for ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficient coordination among various teams involved in daily operations.

They include detailed entries related to train movements, delays, signaling issues, equipment status, maintenance activities, security alerts, and emergency incidents. Each record typically captures essential information such as time, location, nature of the issue, actions taken, responsible personnel, and resolution status. This enables operators to maintain a clear and chronological history of events, which is crucial for analysis and reporting.

OCC Registers also play a vital role in incident management by ensuring that every issue is logged, tracked, and followed up until closure. They help in assigning responsibilities, monitoring response times, and ensuring compliance with defined operational procedures and service level agreements (SLAs). In case of audits or investigations, these registers act as official documentation providing traceability of actions and decisions taken.

With the integration of digital systems, modern OCC Registers are often automated and connected with real-time monitoring tools, allowing seamless data capture and reducing manual errors. They support data analytics, enabling trend analysis, performance evaluation, and identification of recurring issues. This helps organizations take proactive measures to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.

Additionally, OCC Registers enhance communication and coordination by providing a centralized platform where all stakeholders—operators, maintenance teams, security personnel, and management—can access consistent and up-to-date information. This ensures better decision-making, faster response to incidents, and improved overall control of metro and rail operations.

In summary, OCC Registers are essential for maintaining organized records, improving operational visibility, ensuring accountability, and supporting continuous improvement within the Command and Control Center environment.

Services :

Permit to Work (PTW) Register

The Permit to Work Register records all authorized maintenance and engineering activities carried out on tracks, signaling systems, or electrical assets.
It ensures proper approvals, safety compliance, defined work duration, and coordination between OCC and field teams to prevent operational risks.

🚪 Cab Pass Register

The Cab Pass Register maintains records of all personnel authorized to enter the train driver’s cabin.
It includes details like name, designation, purpose, time of entry/exit, and approvals, ensuring security, accountability, and restricted access control.

⚠️ Event Report Register

This register logs all operational events such as delays, failures, disruptions, or unusual occurrences.
It captures complete details including time, location, cause, actions taken, and final resolution for analysis and future prevention.

🚨 Mock Drill Register

The Mock Drill Register records all emergency preparedness drills conducted across the network.
It documents drill type, participants, response time, observations, and improvement areas to enhance emergency readiness and coordination.

🚧 TSR (Temporary Speed Restriction) Imposition & Cancellation Register

This register tracks all instances where temporary speed limits are applied or removed on specific track sections.
It records reasons, locations, duration, approvals, and communication details to ensure safe train operations and proper compliance.
